Welcome to Boston’s Waterfront
Stretching from Battery Wharf in the North End to South Station Downtown, the Boston Waterfront is home to some of the city’s most coveted real estate, and there’s no question why. Boasting incredible water views, amazing walkability and access to transportation, and a location that can’t be beat, living on the Boston Waterfront leaves little to be desired.
Historically, the Boston Waterfront was the shipping and manufacturing hub of the city, home to warehouses and manufacturing buildings built jutting out into Boston Harbor. Lewis, Union and Commercial Wharves were all constructed in the early 1830s, and Lincoln Wharf was built in 1901 as a coal-fired power station. Now, these same buildings now exist as residences offering chic brick-and-beam loft-style living.
Today’s Boston Waterfront offers residents the best of the old world and the new, with its converted warehouses interspersed between some of Boston’s most luxurious developments of the last 20 years.

Location, Location, Location
The Boston Waterfront, not to be confused with the Seaport, is less its own neighborhood and more an extension of the neighborhoods it directly abuts. Its prime location puts you in immediate walking distance of the famous dining and shopping of the North End, the Financial District, Chinatown, the Theater District, Government Center, South Station and multiple T lines.
And it’s not just getting around locally that’s easy. Waterfront residents enjoy direct access to 93, the Mass Pike, the Boston Harbor water taxi system and the Commuter Rail, and are only a quick 10 minute ride from Boston Logan Airport.
Living on the Boston Waterfront also gives you incredible access to two of Boston’s finest green spaces: The Rose Kennedy Greenway and the Boston HarborWalk, both of which run along the full length of the Boston Waterfront.
Oh, and of course there’s Boston Harbor right on your doorstep too!
